THURSDAY January 19 3rd Thursday Theater: Dinner & a Show! $15
Members of Wabeno Area Players will be coaxing wonderment with their monologues at the Big Easel. Dinner staring at 5, show by 7. (715) 889-1179. Space is limited so call early.
The evening will feature comical selections that everyone will be sure to enjoy. One of the evenings featured selections is from our very own local writer, Mike Monte. Enjoy a relaxing evening of food, fun and entertainment. Wabeno Area Players will be donating all funds raised this evening to the Wabeno High School Music Department.

SATURDAY January 20 This Saturday night at the BIG EASEL we will be having an imaginary Guest Chef that we have conjured from the 90s TV show “Pie in the Sky” Chef Henry Crabbe will be delighting us with tastes such as Smoked Mackerel Fish Cakes, King Crab Chowder, Rainbow Trout, Chestnut and Bacon Terrine, Minted Green Peas, Steak Pie, Teased Cucumber Relish, Royal Chocolate Truffle Torte…715 889 1179 and of course there will be music…Skip Jones will be gracing the Big Easel!!

Saturday’s Chef’s Table features well marbled New York Strip Steaks, with a very limited amount of American Kobe available (reserve your portion ASAP!) We have raided Menno, German, & Ukrainian larders! We are bringing home the Canadian Bacon & more; Poutine, Varenike, Mennonite Farmer’s sausage, Hearty heritage beans, Canadian Bacon, German Spinach Salad, Entrée of well-marbled Steak and Fixin’s, and Apfel Kuchen for dessert.

SATURDAY December 23rd the Big Easel will transport you on a Culinary journey around the world, “Pizza on Earth” after all it is the season!

Departing from Wabeno with the Bistro’s classic White Album, on to France for a Tarte Flambe, south to Italy for Sopressatta/Fennel pizza, on to the Middle East for some Lachmacun, next stop, the Indian Subcontinent for Saag-Paneer, hopping Down Under for some ‘Shrimp on the Barbie’ pizza, then to South America for some Chorizo/Avocado, then back to Wabeno for dessert!
