Hot Beef Sandwiches, Chili, Brats and Libations will be available..bring a sweater as we close out 2019’s Band Shell Season ‘again’…we mean it this time…maybe…

September 14: 8th annual FESTI-FALL in Lakewood, so much to see and do, music and food, including River Street performing at the Candy Shop where also the BIG EASEL will offer smoked pulled pork boxed lunches!

After FESTI-FALL, come to the BIG EASEL for our Texas Style Barbeque on Saturday Night Chefs table….working menu: Soup, New Braunfels Sausage with American Girl Mustards, Southwest Succotash, Brisket, BBQ Prawns, Ribs, and all the Fixins!!!

September 19: 3rd Thursday Theatre, Daniel Boatright production: what is Well Red/Well Fed/Well Bread/ Well Read/Well Spread/ Well Said…. you will experience something very Souper…rustic in-house Bread too!!

As August comes to an end….. Happy Labor Day Weekend!

The Wabeno Bandshell has the last of the Summer Free Concert performances on Wednesday, August 28 with the phenomenal Larry Seiler taking the stage with his guitar. Come join us on the lawn for this last performance of the year. 5:30 to 7:30pm. Bring your chairs and picnic. Or….. food and beverages are available on site. Bring your jackets!

The Big Easel is holding a garage sale on Friday and Saturday, August 30 and 31. The hours are 8-3. Come by to nab a few great deals!

The Highway is taking us to the Hemmingway for Saturday’s Chef’s Table…dishes like Ropa Vieja, Prawns in Buttery Hot(ish) Sauce, Tenderloin with Charred Adobo, Lime Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Chorizo Chickpea Tostados, and more…Music by the incomparable Larry Seiler!  Reservations required! Our working menu: Cream of Garlic Soup, Shrimp and grits, Red Beans and Rice, Beef n Debris PoBoy, Chicken Gumbo, Jambalaya, New Orleans Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce…musical magic by Keith, our very own Gordon Lightfoot

Wabeno Band Shell Wednesday was rained out on August 7, but will return August 14 with Buzz Baum, August 21 with River Street, August 28 with Larry Seiler…5:30-7:30. That will end the summer concert series – so get out there and enjoy this special bandshell event while the summer lasts!

Easing into August! Join us

Wednesday July 31, Wabeno Bandshell, Free Summer Concert on the green. Musical performance by Vintage: Classic rock, bit of country, and a generally rollickin’ good time. Bring chairs and libations/food.

Sunday, August 4 Art Show. Reception and viewing from 2-4. Featuring new works by Chad Forrest and Ildiko Pellagi.

Wednesday, August 7, River Street performs their magical lounge music at the Wabeno Bandshell, as part of the Summer concert series. Bring a chair and libations, and settle in for some smooth music.
